WARTIME

With Black Men Build Role: Project Manager, Creative Director and Editor-in-Chief

WARTIME is a digital and print publication produced by Black Men Build (BMB), an organization focused on community organizing, political education and social transformation.

Functioning as a call to action and a tool for political education, the magazine is designed to be accessible to a wide audience. It avoids academic jargon in favor of short essays, prose and poetry to document Black life and challenge the status quo.

WARTIME features contributions from Black writers, photographers and artists, tackling a variety of topics, including critiques of capitalism, community healing and Black history.

The publication is distributed both online and physically in communities and prisons. You can read or download current and past issues directly on the Black Men Build Magazine page.
